A beautiful beautiful day

I've listened to a whole load of conference talks this week.

Not much has really happened, just some good ole missionary work. One of my friends here just accepted to be baptized and we are really excited for him. He's got this legendary collection of movie items ranging from star wars to Harry Potter to lord of the rings, marvel and DC. 

A talk yall need to listen to is called The Caravan Moves On by Bruce R. Mcconkie in October 1984. 

This upcoming week is transfers already!! I hope I can stay. We will see. I'm one who needs time to settle in and get my roots in before the engine can start roaring. 

I'm doing well! I'm very positive about the future, and I'm just excited to have time continue to pass by. 

I'll make sure to be at the invergordon chapel early so I can send some photos home for once!

The travel time is exceeding the stay time

Well today has been a fantastic adventure. 

Dont have much time to email so I may end up writing more bulky detail at some point later on and sending home next week.

We spent the day traveling to the Isle of Skye, a whopping 113 miles from where we were in Inverness. We stopped at 3 castles, dropped by 3 lochs, crossed many bridges and drove past real true rocky mountain approved mountains. That was a mission highlight 100% for sure.

I've got so many pictures to send home now that I'll basically never send home because we never are on wifi. Maybe we'll end up at the library and try sending all this stuff home. 

Anyway, life is good! I'm feeling great, the work is going well, we have a good few people who are getting close to making the decision to be baptized, that will be awesome if it happens while I'm here.

This week has been really uneventful, with lots and lots of travel everywhere! But since I never tell the details of anything, I'll elaborate on the few things that happened this week.

We spent nearly the whole week in invergordon since I'm just waiting to be healed up. During that time elder Draper was going out with them all day every day so I got very familiar with the other 2 elders of our district. It was good for them too to have a change of pace. At the flat I was concocting many things to pass the time. From modifiers to board games to learning how to cook fries. I've used up a lot of tatties and a lot of frying oil. I know how to make dank good fries now so yall going to be treated when I get home.

We saw a 3 wheeled car this week. Didn't think there were anymore of them. There are.  Saw a few porsches and other mid tier exotics shooting by in the offroad highlands. It be like that here.

When we were headed back to inverness it was hardcore lightning storming. Like hot dang it was coming down. On our last trip to the car I was walking down to drop in some sleeping bags and an air mattress when my eyes filled with a flash of light. I couldnee see. Within a second or two what sounded like perpetual cannon fire boomed in our wee complex and all the birds on the nearby building jumped off (there were 10-15 of them). We got in the car fast. The rest of the evening our power was flickering In and out. Our calls to other teams were dropping. It was awesome. Let's do that again please.

So yeah I got practice being a house maid. I'd just do all the dishes, sweep the floors and wipe off all the surfaces of the flat to keep busy. It's really not that hard to stay clean guys! It's just hard to get clean! (Read that again)

Well today I got another doctors appointment and we are finally going to THE Loch today. I'm getting that good good loch ness experience. Afterwards, if I'm up to it we are seeing a waterfall and some castle ruins nearby. Today's going to be good.

Power of Spirit!

Even when life is slow, time goes by quick. 

This week we had our zone cluster and Scotland north conference, and it was amazing. The rejuvenating power of the spirit is a very real power. 

We've mostly been occupied with a lot of planning. We didn't have a whole ton of time to find this week. But we've had a lot of meaningful experiences and I'm just happy to be here.

I don't have many things to say this week. Like usual I guess. We played risk with the invergordon elders and then went into town for some shopping, and I got a nice jacket. Not a proselyting jacket, just a good souvenir one.Yeah I like my jackets that's for sure.

We are going to be very busy this week. We have quite a few appointments filling up a ton of our time. I love it! The Spirit of God just feels so good. I encourage anyone and everyone I can really talk to to just try it and feel how good it feels. 

I can't believe june is almost over. It doesnt make a lot of sense. But it's like that sometimes.
